# Rapper Blueface Stabbed in Leg While Training at Boxing Gym in Los Angeles

Rapper Blueface, whose real name is Jonathan Porter, was stabbed in the leg by a stranger while training at a boxing gym in Los Angeles on Wednesday morning. The incident occurred at Kaminsky Boxing Gym in Reseda at around 10:30 a.m.
Blueface, 26, was immediately taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries and is currently recovering. The artist, known for his hit song “Thotiana,” shared apparent surveillance footage of the confrontation on his Instagram story later in the day. He explained that the incident would prevent him from participating in his scheduled fight on October 14.
Although the LAPD confirmed that a man was taken to the hospital with a stab wound, they did not publicly identify the victim as Blueface. The suspect, described as a man in a white tank top and jeans, fled the scene in a black Tesla Model S with no license plates.
The video posted by Blueface shows an agitated man approaching the rapper, who is wearing boxing gloves and a chest protector. David Kaminsky, a trainer at the gym, stepped in between the two before Blueface punched the suspect in the face. Following the initial punch, Blueface continued to throw several more punches at the man.
In a separate angle of the altercation, Blueface narrated, “He keeps approaching me with a look in his eye. I know that look.” The footage then cuts out, leaving the alleged stabbing unseen.
Blueface assured his fans that he was okay, sharing a clip of his bloodied bandages on Instagram. In the video, he said, “It’s just a leg shot guys, I’m okay. You don’t gotta blow up my phone or nothing.”
According to trainer David Kaminsky, the attacker had stormed into the gym shouting threats at Blueface, saying “I’m going to kill you.” As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
In addition to this recent incident, Blueface is also facing an attempted murder charge in Nevada relating to a shooting in October 2022 near Las Vegas Boulevard and Sunset Road.
