The UK’s fifth annual Best Places to Work Awards were handed out yesterday, and in doing so, it gave a good look at the country’s top gaming companies in terms of working conditions and employee satisfaction.

Based on employee surveys and information from each company itself, the winners of the award, of which more than 90 companies are eligible, are as follows:

small company:

  • Delara
  • loser game
  • Indigo Pearl
  • Kepler Interactive
  • rip stone
  • Sock Monkey Studio
  • TrailMix
  • wind of legend

Medium-sized companies:

  • standard
  • D3T series
  • kitchen
  • PlayStation Studios
  • red kite game
  • Space Ape Games

big company:

It should be noted that if a gaming company doesn’t succeed, it doesn’t make it a bad place to work, as GamesIndustry.biz also does point out that 93% of employed employees at participating companies would recommend working there.

There are also awards for diversity, health and well-being, education and more, with Rare, Creative Assembly and Rocksteady all taking home awards.
