Raresh Ilya undergoes medical tests at Maccabi Tel Aviv

Maccabi Tel Aviv is determined to get stronger on the last day of the window, and is negotiating with the French side Nice on the loan addition of the 19-year-old Romanian winger, Rarsh Ilia.

Ilya already landed in Israel last night and is undergoing medical tests, and if he eventually signs, Maccabi Tel Aviv will have the option to borrow Ilya for another season, with an option to purchase for 5 million euros.

Although the Romanian was not Maccabi Tel Aviv’s first priority for reinforcement, but after the options of Konrad de la Fuente and Igibo Camara from Olympiakos fell through, the yellow club turned to the option of the Romanian.

Ilya, who was purchased last summer from the Romanian Rapid for five million euros, shared 366 minutes this season in only 8 appearances in the Nice uniform, and started both games against Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Conference League qualifiers (142 minutes in total).
