Rashid Khan has demanded that Afghanistan batsmen should also be selected in T20 league matches.
Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan has been playing in many T20 leagues including IPL. Afghanistan bowlers like Rashid Khan, Mujeeb ur Rehman, Mohammad Nabi are popular in T20 league matches. Rashid Khan said in an interview:
I would be more happy if Afghanistan batsmen feature in T20 league matches than Afghanistan bowlers. Many of our country’s bowlers are playing in tournaments around the world. Similarly, our batters should get a chance. It will enhance their performance. It will also be good for Afghanistan cricket. Some have played in the Pakistan Super League. When they got the chance, they made the most of it. Likewise, Afghanistan batsmen will surely prove their mettle if they get a chance in the T20 league matches. He said that our batsmen can play aggressively in T20 cricket.
