24 arrested by Rashtriya Hindu Maha Sabha
The Rashtriya Hindu Maha Sabha had planned to hold an awareness chariot procession in Udagai on Sunday under the leadership of its organizational chairman Velu. However, the police had refused permission for the chariot procession.
However, Muniyappan, the state deputy organizer of the organization, Vairamuthu, the secretary of the youth wing, and 24 others, including Manikkam, the deputy secretary of the youth wing, were arrested and detained at the wedding hall there.
