A lorry carrying cashew nuts worth Rs 1.10 crore was seized from Thoothukudi near Rasipuram. Seven people have been arrested, including Jebasinghe, the son of former AIADMK labor minister Sellapandian.

Driver Hari was driving a lorry towards the port of Thoothukudi carrying a load of cashew nuts worth Rs 1.10 crore weighing 12 tonnes from a privately owned cashew plant in Thakkalai area of ​​Kanyakumari district.
