AMalayalee and Oscar winner Resul Pookutty tells the story of same-sex love in RRR Movie directed by SS Rajamouli. Actor-writer Munish Bharadwaj had tweeted calling RRR ‘garbage’. Rasool Pookkutty mentioned ‘gay love story’ in his reply tweet. This has led to a lot of anger and criticism among fans.
Pookutty also opined that Alia Bhatt, the heroine of the film, was just a tool. Telugu superstars Ram Charan and Junior NTR played the lead roles in the film.
RRR came before the audience on March 25. ‘RRR’ is a film that was to hit the theaters globally on January 7. But as Omicron cases increased, many states implemented strict restrictions on social life and the decision was changed. The film has also reached OTT through the Sea5 platform. The film, which was prepared with an investment of 650 crores, collected 1000 crores within a month. So far the film has collected 1150 crores box office collection.
RRR’s biggest USP after the Baahubali franchise is the film directed by Rajamouli. RRR comes five years after the release of Baahubali 2. Starring Jr. NTR and Ram Charan in lead roles, the film stars Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt and Olivia Morris. Also starring Samudharkani, Alison Doody, Ray Stevenson, Shriya Saran. Rajamouli himself has scripted the story of his father KV Vijayendra Prasad. The dialogues are composed by Sai Madhav Bura.
