The popular actress of Indian Bengali cinema Ritabhari Chakraborty has been admitted to the hospital. He underwent surgery on Saturday (July 6). He is undergoing treatment in a private hospital in Bidhannagar, Kolkata.
In an Indian media, a source close to Ritabhari said, ‘Actress Ritabhari went to the doctor with a simple stomach problem. After examination, it is known that he has stones in his gall bladder. After that, the actress was admitted to the hospital. The doctors said that Ritabhari has undergone surgery, the actress is out of danger. Regained consciousness, resting for now.’
Ritabhari is not in a condition to speak at the moment. He was kept under doctor’s observation for 24 hours after the surgery. Then it will be finalized when he will be released from the hospital. Mother Shatrupa Sanyal is next to her daughter in the hospital.
Ritabhari was suffering from physical problems for the past one month. Ritabhari Chakraborty fell ill several times during the shooting of the movie ‘Bahurupi’. The report also informed that he continued shooting with symptoms like vomiting and dizziness.
Ritabhari made her television debut through the serial ‘Ogo Badhu Sundari’. In 2011, he stepped on the big screen with the movie ‘Tomar Sath Praner Khel’. However, the film was not released. His first movie ‘Tabu Basant’ was released in 2012. Notable films in which Ritabhari acted are — ‘Chatushkon’, ‘Barood’, ‘Pari’, ‘Shih Se Shru’ etc.
