Chennai: Rathinavel has been re-appointed as the Principal of Madurai Medical College, said Minister Ma Subramanian.

The adoption of the Sanskrit vow of Maharishi Sarak Sapt instead of the Hippocratic Pledge at the first year students’ white robe ceremony held at the Madurai Government Medical College a few days ago caused controversy.
