Rating company QS stops cooperation with universities of the Russian Federation and Belarus

The British rating company Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) suspends work in Russia and Belarus due to the situation in Ukraine. The company will edit its ratings, which included Russian and Belarusian universities.

“We support affected Ukrainian and international students and applicants with our counseling and mobility tracking services, and provide verified recommendations, including through TopUniversities… We are currently editing Russian and Belarusian entries in the new QS University Rankings and stop promoting Russian universities or Russia as a destination for study,” the statement said.

The company will also cease cooperation with partners from Russia.

Of Russian universities, only Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov – 78th place.
