A program closing that lives up to expectations in which Raul Bermejo, the expert behind @Thinksforkids, he got off the stage to interact with the public and demonstrate why “Children’s boys and girls have to be able to get off the dotted line, be themselves, make their own decisions.”
During his intervention, in which there was time, not only to share activities, but also to let the teachers themselves take part in them; the expert advocated flexibility and originality as a path to the development of autonomy; and he claimed intrinsic motivation over rewards: “The more conditions we put into an evaluation with rewards, the more we are killing that creativity and originality. We don’t let them be themselves,” he said.
Fun and dynamic, the also author of ‘Ser Maestro’ and ‘Qué Color!’, concluded his talk with a short film and a message, to the applause of the audience: “Remember that creativity is in your brain and many thanks to all”.
