The officials of Chennai Super Kings rejected the reports that Subhman Gill will be brought from Gujarat Titans and replaced by Jadeja. Neither team has made such a move. A few other teams, including Delhi Capitals, had approached for Jadeja. But CSK has reportedly said that they will not release Jadeja. At the same time, it is reported that some teams have asked for Rahul Tewatia and R Sai Kishore, but Gujarat Titans are not ready.
The injured Jadeja will not play in the T20 World Cup starting next month. Jadeja’s absence is a big blow for India.
It is suggested that the IPL auction for the 2023 season will be held in December this year. Cricbus reports that the auction will take place on December 16. It is not clear where the auction will take place. The BCCI had earlier announced that the IPL will be held again in the old home-away format from the coming season.
