The sudden death of Ray Liotta at the age of 67, while he was in the Dominican Republic for the shooting of the film “Dangerous waters”, left the world of cinema in shock. The actor – famous for Martin Scorsese’s “Goodfellas” – was born in Newark, New Jersey on December 18, 1954. Perhaps not everyone knows that, after being abandoned in an orphanage, he was adopted at the age of six months with Mary Edgar, a city clerk, and Alfred Liotta, the owner of an auto parts shop. Liotta has a sister, Linda, who is also adopted. He later said he always knew he was adopted and in the 2000s he hired a private investigator to track down his biological mother. He discovered that he had another sister, a half-brother and five other half-sisters.
