The system, which is installed on the production line, automatically detects and classifies dozens of types of defects in the ammunition produced. Razor will provide four systems for NIS 6 million

Razor Labs Company (Razor Labs) reported this morning to the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange today that it has signed with a global security company a memorandum of understanding to purchase an AI-based testing system, which performs automatic detection and classification of ammunition defects on the production line. Razor Labs will provide the defense company with four systems in exchange for a total of about NIS 6 million.

This is a visual inspection system installed on the production line. It is based on Razor Labs’ artificial intelligence software And includes lighting, camera and computing. The system is able to detect dozens of types of defects in ammunition in real time and also classifies the severity of the defect in ammunition. Once the ammunition is classified, the system performs automatic distribution using sophisticated mechanics, depending on the type of defect identified. With the help of the product’s detection and classification capabilities, it will be possible to discern the pattern of defects and draw conclusions about faults in the machines on the production line that cause these defects to appear more frequently. The company estimates that the product may have the potential to adapt to different industrial sectors in the world by performing automatic, fast and accurate quality control.

Razor Labs, which was established in 2016 and was listed on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange in early 2021, is developing custom artificial intelligence solutions for operational problems of companies and organizations, especially among the industrial sector. The company ended 2021 with revenues of NIS 14.1 million, compared to NIS 22.2 million in 2020, and with an operating loss of NIS 43.3 million.
