Re Automotive will start selling its electric vehicles in the US

REE Automotive, a technology company that develops and manufactures electric platforms and vehicles, announced today (Thursday) business collaborations with the first authorized car distributors in the US that will offer electric cars powered by REE to customers who wish to make the transition to electric commercial vehicle fleets.

This move was carried out as part of Re’s market penetration strategy which includes signing business agreements with authorized distributors. The company aims to start supplying REE vehicles to US distributors in the fourth quarter of 2023.

REE will offer training to distributors to enable their vehicle technicians to service vehicles powered by REE. Rhee reveals the names of the first authorized distributors that the company has reported first sales. These include Pritchard EV, a national distributor and subsidiary of the Pritchard Companies and Tom’s Truck Center of Southern California. Also, Rhee announced today the signing of Industrial Power & Truck Equipment (IPT) and New England Truck Solutions (NETS) as new distributors for the American market.

Rhee has signed an agreement with Mitsubishi HC Capital America that will provide tailored financing solutions to distributors in Rhee’s distribution network. The agreement aims to streamline the process of obtaining the financing required for the purchase of vehicles powered by REE by the distributors. In addition, Mitsubishi HC Capital will leverage existing partnerships to allow REE to increase its distribution network in North America. “By helping companies achieve their environmental, social and corporate (ESG) responsibility goals, we have the opportunity to positively impact the world around us and that happens through partnerships like the one we have with Rhee,” Kirk Mann, senior vice president and general manager of transportation finance at -Mitsubishi HC Capital America.
