Prices of chicken and eggs are expected to rise again in the country.
The All Ceylon Poultry Traders Association has said that the shortage of animal feed will further increase the prices of chicken and eggs.
Rising prices again
However, at present the price of a kilogram of chicken meat in the market is more than 1200 rupees.
As well as 47.50 per cent of an egg, it can be seen that in some places it is being sold for more than fifty rupees.
Bakery products
In this context, the All Ceylon Bakery Owners’ Association has stated that the prices of bakery products will increase massively due to the fuel crisis and rising prices for raw materials.
