WhatsApp blue ticks are a sentence in many cases. Its purpose is to help us know if a contact in our address book has received a message that we have sent to them and if they have read it as expected. But in many cases you tend to strategize with this accessory.

We have to select the message we have sent and go to the icon of the “i” in a circle, which is at the top. A window will open in which all the data related to that message will be displayed. For example, the delivery time. And also the time it was read, if it was actually read.
You may find it difficult to find the circled “i” icon. When you press a sent message, another series of icons will appear at the top, each of which corresponds to a different command.

Instead, we will have, in order: an arrow to return to the previous situation, a number that indicates the number of messages selected, a little star to possibly put that specific message in the group of important messages that can be consulted from the settings, the circled ‘i’, the ‘copy’ icon and the ‘paste’ icon.
By going directly to the ‘i’ we will obtain a quick and simple report on whether the message has been read, with the time when it was delivered. It will be there where the blue ticks appear, even if they are not active in the chat with our partner. And in the groups it will also show us the names of those who have read the message. This is valid for both iOS and Android devices.
