Sydney: Former Australian cricketer Matthew Hayden said that he is ready to help the Australian cricket team which is in the grip of defeat.

Australia and India are playing a 4-match cricket Test series for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. With the first 2 matches over, the Indian team has won both matches and is leading the series by 2-0.

Also, India retained the trophy as they won two of the 4-match Border-Gavaskar Test series. Apart from that, India has almost assured its place in the final match of the World Test Championship.

The first 2 matches ended in the first 3 days. The Australian team was bowled out as they could not handle the bowling of spinners like Ravindra Jadeja and Ashwin.

In this case, Matthew Hayden told reporters yesterday: I am ready to help the Australian team in decline at any time. Whenever I have been asked about this, I have always said yes. Cricket management should not single out ex-players if they want better advice. They should be given due respect.

I am ready to coach and mentor Australian players. And I will also train them on how to perform on Indian pitches. This is what he said.
