Real American Beer: New Branding & Life After Hulk Hogan

by Liam O'Connor Sports Editor

Hulk Hogan will seemingly no longer be the face of Real American Beer moving forward. The beer brand announced that it recently hit a sales milestone, having sold its 10 millionth can since launching in June 2024. To celebrate the achievement, the company announced it will undergo a “strategic relaunch” regarding its brand positioning and partnerships.

As part of this shift, Real American Beer will debut a new visual brand identity. The new cans will not feature Hogan’s likeness. Instead, the packaging will display a new logo along with two new taglines.

The Golden Ticket

While Hogan is being removed from the standard packaging, the company is giving him one final run. Real American Beer is launching a limited “Golden Ticket” promotion to mark the end of the original cans featuring the WWE Hall of Famer.

50 Golden Tickets will be randomly placed inside 12-packs of Real American Beer nationwide. Those who find a ticket will receive a 12-pack autographed by Hogan and will be entered for a chance to win cash prizes up to $5,000.

Future Plans And Lawsuit

A report by TMZ stated that Hogan will not be completely phased out of the brand forever. Real American Beer reportedly has plans for special edition Hulk cans in the future, similar to the “Hulkamania Forever” cans produced after his death.

Real American Beer is pivoting away from its association with wrestling icon Hulk Hogan, but not entirely severing ties. The brand announced February 4, 2026, that it has sold 10 million cans since its launch in June 2024, triggering a “strategic relaunch” and a new look for the product.

A New Look for a Popular Brew

The most visible change? Hogan’s image will no longer adorn the cans. Real American Beer is opting for a new logo and a pair of fresh taglines as part of the rebranding effort. But don’t count “The Hulkster” out just yet.

To commemorate the end of an era, Real American Beer is launching a “Golden Ticket” promotion. Fifty lucky consumers will find a golden ticket hidden inside 12-packs purchased nationwide. Each winner will receive a 12-pack autographed by Hogan and a chance to win cash prizes, with a grand prize of $5,000.

Hogan’s Future with the Brand

According to a report, Hogan’s involvement isn’t over for good. Real American Beer is reportedly considering special edition cans featuring Hogan in the future, echoing the “Hulkamania Forever” releases that followed his passing.

What does this mean for Real American Beer fans? The brand is evolving its image while still acknowledging the role Hulk Hogan played in its initial success. Expect a refreshed look, but with the potential for Hogan-themed releases down the line.
