jpnn.com – JAKARTA – Real Madrid continues to try to get Liverpool defender, Trent Alexander-Arnold, for the 2025 season.
The Spanish giants are reportedly not giving up in their pursuit of Trent Alexander-Arnold.
This was said by renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano via his official account at X, Wednesday, after Madrid’s first offer to buy Arnold in January was rejected by Liverpool.
“Real Madrid are adamant about signing Trent Alexander-Arnold as their top target for 2025, as it was revealed in March he is the player they want,” Romano wrote.
“Liverpool have clearly informed Real Madrid that Trent Alexander-Arnold will not be sold in January,” he added.
Romano said the two parties would hold formal talks this month to smooth Arnold’s move to the Santiago Bernabeu next season.
The two parties were allowed to negotiate after Arnold had six months left on his contract with Liverpool.
“Real Madrid continues to work on a free agent agreement for July,” wrote the Italian journalist.
