That attempt by Real Madrid to level the score paid off in the second half, as they found the equalizer in the 69th minute. A penalty taken by Vinicius Jr ended in the validation of parity for the whites against the Canarians.
In this way, Real Madrid would drop points in the standings and would now remain at 5 points, four behind the leader Barcelona, who maintains a perfect score at the start of the season. Meanwhile, Las Palmas achieved their second draw in the championship, placing them in sixteenth position.
