The second part of the double Euroleague week opened tonight with two games: In the early game, Panathinaikos lost an advantage in money time on the way to a painful 81:78 against Bayern Munich. Later, Real Madrid easily defeated the Red Star 67:79 and temporarily climbed to the top.

The Blancos continue to look like a team that is going to run strong this season with a fourth straight win that has temporarily set them at the top. The Serbs, on the other hand, took a few feet off the gas and counted a second consecutive loss precisely after being on a good swing.
The level gaps were already felt in the opening, when the star stopped at 13 points in the first quarter. Real did not take advantage of this to escape, but opened burners in the third quarter on the way to a double-digit advantage from which the visitors were unable to come back. Walter Tavares led Real with 15 points, Vincent Fourier added 14 and eight rebounds.
