Following the indictment of Poupette Kenza, it is now Aurélie Preston’s turn to face turmoil. On Monday, August 5, 2024, the former reality TV contestant was placed in police custody in Montpellier, according to “Le Parisien”. She is being interrogated in connection with a judicial investigation on charges of “armed robbery in an organized group,” “kidnapping,” “intentional violence,” and “criminal association.”

This assault, which took place on June 25, 2024, in Versailles, near Paris, appears to be an act of revenge since it targeted the ex-boyfriend of the 32-year-old Frenchwoman, with whom she has been in conflict for months. According to a source close to the case, a man arrived with a bouquet of flowers to deliver at the front door of the targeted apartment. After the occupant opened the door, the individual pushed him aside to enter the home. Two accomplices then intervened. The victim was found “handcuffed with his face taped up,” and was then beaten. The attackers made off with two luxury watches valued at 25,000 euros.

Error about the victim?

The man who was beaten and robbed by the criminals is actually the brother of Aurélie’s ex-boyfriend. Was he indeed the intended target of the attack? After hearing the victim, investigators quickly made a connection with the influencer. She has recently spoken to the media about her former boyfriend, a dentist in Geneva, whom she accuses of causing her significant dental problems and of having “made her live a nightmare.” Consequently, she reportedly filed a complaint against him for 150,000 euros in damages for her damaged teeth.

According to “Midi Libre,” Aurélie and two presumed accomplices have been arrested. Their police custody can last until Thursday, August 8, before a possible indictment by the examining magistrate.
