A new leak of the Realme GT 2 India variant has revealed the color options, memory and storage configurations of the upcoming smartphone ahead of launch. Realme will launch the GT 2 smartphone in India in the coming days. Realme hinted at the imminent launch of the phone in India at the Realme GT 2 Pro launch event. As a reminder, the Shenzhen-based smartphone manufacturer launched the Realme GT 2 series in its home country first. The phone hit store shelves in several other regions outside of China in February 2022, at MWC 2022.
Apart from this, Realme GT Neo 3 will go official in India on April 29th during an offline event. However, details about the exact launch date of the Realme GT 2 in India are still scarce. However, it is likely to be launched in the country in the coming days. Through his Twitter account, notable leaker Mukul Sharma sheds light on the key details of the Realme GT 2 India variant. In his latest tweet, the disciple revealed the color options, memory and storage configurations of the Realme GT 2 smartphone.

First, Mukul claims that the vanilla variant of the Realme GT 2 will be available in three color options. Furthermore, it is suggested that there will be two RAM and storage options available for the vanilla model. According to Mukul, the Realme GT 2 will be ready to grab in two configurations. This includes a base model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The top model will ship with 12GB of RAM and will offer a whopping 256GB of internal storage. Furthermore, the phone can come in Paper Green, Steel Black, and Paper White color options.

Realme GT 2 features a 6.62-inch AMOLED display with FHD + resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Moreover, the screen offers a peak brightness of 1,300 nits, and an impressive contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1. In addition, the screen has a layer of Gorilla Glass 5 on top for additional protection. The back panel uses paper design technology, just like the Realme GT 2 Pro. Under the hood, the phone houses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, which is paired with up to 12GB of RAM. Also, the phone comes with a storage capacity of 256 GB.
In the photography department, the phone includes three cameras on the back featuring a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 main camera. Apart from that, the rear camera setup includes a 119-degree ultra-wide-angle lens, as well as a macro lens. On the front, the phone has a 16-megapixel shooter, which is located inside a hole punch on the screen. Also, the Realme GT Neo 3 uses a 5000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support to draw the juices. There is a possibility that Realme GT 2 will launch on April 29 along with GT Neo 3.
