Realme will introduce the GT Neo 5 on January 5 with charging up to 240 watts

by time news

The brand company Realme (Realme) has officially announced that it will announce the next generation of its GT family on January 5th. However, the company will introduce a device called GT Neo 5 which will be the successor of GT Neo 3 5G – like Chinese manufacturers before it, and after it, it skips 4 which is considered an unlucky number in China, and when pronounced it reminds of the word death.

According to estimates, the device will come with Qualcomm’s previous flagship processor, which means Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. It will be under the screen with a 1.5K OLED resolution and a size of 6.7 inches. The refresh rate should be relatively high, and according to the reports will be 144 Hz.

Realme, like its parent company Oppo, has already offered models of the same device with different charging rates in the past, and it will probably pull this stunt up its sleeve again: one model will offer a 5,000 mAh battery with 150W charging, like the previous generation , while a second model will offer a smaller battery with a working volume of 4,600 milliampere/hour charging with an amazing power of 240 watts.

There are still many unknown details, such as how many cameras will be in the bump on the back of the device, but the main camera should be based on a Sony IMX890 sensor with an f/1.79 aperture key and optical image stabilization.

We will know the rest of the details next week, if not before.
