Queen of Country, Reba McEntire, revealed an unexpected activity she enjoys with her boyfriend, Rex Linn. The country music star, known for her talent and vivacious personality, admitted that she and Linn enjoy scaring each other in their free time.
During an interview with Today, McEntire shared her terrifying techniques. She mentioned how she would wait for Linn to come out of the bathroom and then scare him by appearing in a dark hallway. McEntire found it hilarious and amusing, while Linn seemed to be genuinely terrified by her pranks.
The couple first met in 1991 while working on the Kenny Rogers movie “The Gambler Returns: The Luck of the Draw.” However, they only started dating after McEntire separated from Anthony “Skeeter” Lasuzzo in 2019. Since then, they have been inseparable, and McEntire even refers to Linn affectionately as “Sugar Tot.”
In addition to sharing their love for playful scares, McEntire highlighted how Linn has been a supportive partner during challenging times in her life. When her mother passed away in 2020 at the age of 93, Linn was there for her, helping her cope with the loss. McEntire expressed her gratitude for having someone to share both the joyful and sorrowful moments of life.
McEntire also revealed that after her mother’s death, she almost considered retiring from her remarkable 50-year career in the music industry. However, she decided to persevere, as singing was her mother’s passion. The latest single, “Seven Minutes in Heaven,” is a tribute to her late mother’s inspiration and support throughout her musical journey.
