Reba McEntire Announces Tour and Talks About Role on ‘Big Sky’

Country music icon Reba McEntire is hitting the road this fall for a tour, all while juggling her upcoming role on ABC’s “Big Sky.” In an exclusive interview with USA TODAY’s Ralphie Aversa, McEntire revealed her plans to perform in arenas across the country.

McEntire, known for her powerful vocals and captivating stage presence, expressed excitement about her upcoming tour. She also discussed her role on the popular TV show “Big Sky,” giving fans a glimpse into what they can expect from her character.

But before hitting the road, McEntire made a guest appearance on “The Voice” alongside fellow coaches John Legend, Niall Horan, and Gwen Stefani. The coaches battled it out for singer Lila Forde during the blind auditions, with Forde ultimately choosing Legend as her coach.

McEntire, however, expressed regret for not using her block button on Legend, jokingly calling him the “four-chair king.” Despite the playful banter, McEntire and Legend continue to support each other and showcase their undeniable talent on the hit show.

The episode also featured standout performances, including JaRae Womack’s haunting rendition of Amy Winehouse’s “Back to Black.” Womack’s powerful vocals and emotional delivery impressed all four coaches, but it was Legend who ultimately won her over.

Another standout moment was Brandon Montel’s captivating cover of “Hard Place” by H.E.R. McEntire used her block button, preventing Legend from pitching to the talented vocalist. Montel, however, chose to join Team Gwen, leaving Legend slightly disappointed.

Niall Horan also had a moment of triumph on the show, earning the title of the “four-chair prince” with his successful recruitment of singer Nini Iris. The New York-based artist wowed the coaches with her powerful performance of “I See Red” and revealed her past as a One Direction fan, particularly writing fanfiction about Horan.

With each episode, “The Voice” continues to showcase incredible talent and provide entertaining moments among the coaches. As McEntire embarks on her tour and prepares for her role on “Big Sky,” fans can look forward to more exciting and unforgettable performances from the Queen of Country.

Stay tuned for updates on McEntire’s tour and catch her on ABC’s “Big Sky” in the near future.
