Politicians continue to flow into the house on Rashbam Street to comfort the mourners over the passing of the late Torah minister. Tonight, Minister Ayelet Shaked arrived to comfort Rebbetzin Koldetzky, who demanded that she prevent the government’s advanced conversion reform.

Interior Minister Ayelet Shaked arrived this evening (Thursday) at the home of Torah Minister Garach Kanievsky Zatzokal to comfort his grieving daughters, headed by Rebbetzin Leah Koldetzky, accompanied by MK Moshe Gafni, chairman of Torah Judaism.

Behadrei Haredim learned that after Minister Shaked thanked Rebbetzin Koldetzky for her father’s words, Rabbi Kanievsky, regarding the encouragement of vaccines, the Rebbetzin slapped her and demanded that she prevent the conversion reform.

The Rebbetzin said to Sarah: “There is a will from the rabbi to preserve the Jewish identity and God forbid not to give a hand to conversion that is not according to Halacha,” she added, “you have the power to prevent it.”

In recent days, a number of politicians have come to comfort mourners, including ministers and Knesset members from the coalition and the opposition, some of whom have been privileged to enter the house during the rabbi’s lifetime.
