At least 100 people have been killed in an indiscriminate shooting by a rebel group in a village in the West African country of Burkina Faso.
An insurgent mob has infiltrated a border village bordering Niger at midnight and is attacking children and women indiscriminately.
The local administration said up to 165 people were killed in the attack. Al Qaeda or ISIS has not claimed responsibility for the attack. Authorities say it was the work of militant groups.
