Rebel Wilson Shares Photo After Stunt Accident on Set of “Bride Hard”

by time news

Rebel Wilson, known for her roles in movies like “Pitch Perfect,” recently shared on social media that she suffered an accident while filming her new movie, “Bride Hard,” and had to receive stitches. The actress took to her Instagram Stories to show off her face after getting stitches following an incident on the movie set in Savannah, Georgia. In an expired Instagram Story post, Wilson captioned the photo by saying, “NOT the way I wanted to end this movie! 3 stitches and in the hospital last night after a stunt accident at 4am.”

Despite the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike, “Bride Hard” continued to film as it was granted an Interim Agreement due to being an independent production. The Interim Agreement allows for journeyman performers and crews to continue earning money to support themselves and their families. In a message to members, the guild stated, “The Interim Agreement gives many of our journeyman performers and crews the opportunity to pay their rent and feed their families. This approach maintains our strength, solidarity, and upper hand with the AMPTP until they yield to the deal we deserve.”

The agreement was created to protect the interests of the guild’s members and to show the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) that other producers are willing to work with SAG-AFTRA under these terms. Some other actors who have continued to work during the strike after their films were granted an Interim Agreement include Anne Hathaway, Dakota Fanning, Glenn Close, James Badge Dale, Ben Foster, Graham Greene, and Melissa Leo.

“Bride Hard” is an action-comedy directed by Simon West. The movie follows the story of a “badass secret agent Sam (played by Rebel Wilson) who has been tasked with one of her hardest missions yet – being a Maid of Honor for her childhood best friend.” Despite the accident, Wilson seems determined to finish the movie and deliver a great performance to her fans.
