Following this malfunction Tesla is calling for the repair of vehicles of this model from the years 2018-2022, and according to the report from Tesla there are 48,184 vehicles which are affected by this announcement of the recall.
According to official documents, track mode “is designed to increase the driving performance of the vehicle on closed circuit, the user interface of the vehicle affected by the malfunction shows the vehicle speed but not the speed unit (mile or mile per hour)”.
In light of the malfunction, the risk of collisions and accidents increases, but Tesla reports that they are not aware of any accidents or injuries attributed to the malfunction.
