Baghdad/Al-Masala: South Korea scored two late goals to lead Group Two of Asian qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup with a 3-2 win over hosts Iraq on Tuesday.

Ó Si Hoon put the hosts ahead in the 41st minute, and top scorer Ayman Hussein equalized for Iraq with a superb goal from a goal kick in the 39th minute.

In the 74th minute, Oh Hyun-gyu scored the goal for the hosts, and 9 minutes later Lee Jae-sung made it 3-1 for South Korea, but Ibrahim Baish reduced the difference for the visitors in the fifth minute of stoppage time.

South Korea were alone at the top of the group after taking their tally to 10 points from four games, 3 points ahead of second-placed Iraq, who were sharing the lead with them before the match.

Later today, Jordan will host the national team of Oman, while the national team of Palestine will play Kuwait in the same group.
