The 35-year-old Shawn Koffler, one of the three children of Irit Strauss from her marriage to the billionaire businessman, Leon Koffler, got engaged today to his partner Mikhail Bortz in an exciting marriage proposal.
The Koffler family is the controlling owner of the Super-Pharm chain established by the family. Shawn’s younger sister, 29-year-old Gabrielle, is a confectioner who is not involved in the family business, and her middle sister, Eleanor, 33, designs baby clothes that she markets in a supermarket.
Two and a half years ago Shawn entered the family business and joined the marketing team of Strauss Coffee Israel and earned an annual salary of NIS 260,000 in the first year. Last February, he left the family business on his mother’s side and moved to business on his father Leon’s side, when he joined the digital and innovation department at Super-Pharm.
