Today (Sunday) Ben Sharaf received the stamp for his great European Cadet Championship when he was selected for the top five of the tournament. Sharaf completes the blue-white triple in the junior teams, after Noam Dovaret was selected for the top five of the reserve championship and Noam Yaakov followed in the youth.
Sharaf was crowned the basket king of the European Championship with an average of 24.3, also finished second in the quality index and fifth in assists with 4.1 per game – while leading the team to fifth place.
The Israeli will be in the spotlight next season as well, as before the championship he signed a long-term contract with Elizur Netanya of the National League when he was only 16 years old. He will get a week off and start his professional career when he joins the team’s training.
At the same time, Netanya announced that the Briga company will continue to be the official sponsor of the club next season as well. The team’s chairman Avidan Nagar said: “We are happy that the Briga company continues with us.
