Reception for Israeli Prime Minister; Discussion to strengthen cooperation

Abu Dhabi: Israeli Prime Minister Naphtali Bennett, who is on a historic visit to the UAE, held talks with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the UAE Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The two discussed strengthening cooperation in key areas such as investment, economy, trade, development, agriculture, food security, renewable energy, innovative technology and health.

The importance of Dubai Expo 2020, the potential for trade cooperation between the partner countries and regional and international issues were discussed. Sheikh Mohammed said the visit would help strengthen ties between the two countries.

Sheikh Mohammed expressed hope that the UAE’s foreign relations would help maintain stability in the Middle East.

Prime Minister Naphtali Bennett has said that the potential for UAE-Israel trade is endless. Bennett praised the steps taken by the two countries on the basis of the Abraham Accord peace agreement signed last year. It was also decided to enhance bilateral cooperation. He also highlighted the importance of expanding investment and economic participation in sustainable development.
