Impact of COVID-19: Burundi strengthens its health services and receives crucial support with 119 motorcycles to strengthen communal hospitals
Bujumbura, August 21, 2023 – In line with the foreign and health policies of Burundi, as a partner of the GUAN [1] through the Global Fund/Covid_19_Project [2]the Burundian Ministry of Public Health and the Fight against AIDS announced that it had recently received 119 motorcycles from the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). These motorcycles are intended to equip municipal hospitals across the country. They are stationed at CAMEBU.
