The Ministry of Health’s Classification Committee has recommended that the government declare Ireland, Norway, Spain, Finland, France, Sweden and the United Arab Emirates red states. The decision will take effect on 19/12/2021 at midnight (on the night between Sunday and Monday), subject to the approval of the Government and the Knesset’s Constitution Committee.
These countries will be added to the existing countries in the list of red countries:
Uganda, Seychelles, Angola, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Aswatini, Botswana, Burundi, Burkina Faso, Benin, United Kingdom, Ghana, Gabon, Djibouti, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Equatorial Guinea, Gambia, Denmark, South Africa, South Sudan, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Central African Republic, Republic of the Congo (Congo Brasville), Zimbabwe, Zambia, Côte d’Ivoire, Togo, Tanzania, Liberia, Lesotho, Mauritania, Mauritius, Mali, Madagascar, Mozambique, Niger, Malawi, Malawi Namibia, Sao Tome and Principe, Somalia, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Saint Helena (UK), Chad, Comoros, Cape Verde, Kenya, Cameroon, Reunion (France), Rwanda.
Criteria for classifying countries as red:
- State report of 10% prevalence of omicron based on A and SGTF flooring
or - Omicron rate among incoming passengers over 5 verified to Omicron per 10,000 incoming passengers, and also the total omicron rate verified from this country over 10%
or - Strong geographical connection to countries with an incidence of over 10%.
A red state is a state to which entry is prohibited except with an exceptional permit, And all returnees from a red state will be charged bFull insulation.
All circulars that are not protected in accordance with the Ministry of Health’s definitions will be required to be isolated in a hotel on behalf of the state, until a negative result is obtained in the PCR test they performed at the entrance to Israel. After receiving a negative result, they will be allowed to complete the period of isolation in their home, as long as they declare that no one other than them lives or stays in the home.
Orange countries – all other countries in the world that are not red.
An orange country is a country with a severe travel warning, and the Ministry of Health recommends that the public avoid traveling to these countries.
Yellow countries – the list is empty.
A yellow country is a country where the risk of getting corona is low.
