“Recommended 28th-42nd batch officers to be remedied within the next day”

Public Administration Ministry Senior Secretary Mohammad Mezbah Uddin Chowdhury said that there will be a remedy tomorrow or the day after tomorrow for the deprived officials of 28th to 42nd batch recommended from PSC to BCS.

He told reporters at the secretariat on Monday (August 12). Before this, he and other secretaries of the interim government chief adviser. Had a meeting with Muhammad Yunus.

The senior secretary said, we will take these issues forward in a quick time. We have presented the matters of those who were recommended to BCS from PSC from 28th to 42nd batch to the Chief Adviser. We hope to have a fix for this by tomorrow or the day after.

He also said that the issues of demoted BCS officers are being considered.

The senior secretary said, we have presented these issues to the chief advisor. We are sympathetically considering the issues of the BCS batch who were promoted in 15-16 years from the Ministry of Public Administration, who were not promoted. We have already started working.

Mezbah Uddin Chowdhury said, he (Chief Adviser) has shed light on the power of youth. He said, through the change that is coming through the energy of youth, an opportunity has been created. Let us use this opportunity. All ministries, departments should function better than the way we were working. So that we can implement the tasks of each ministry and department. He gave direct instructions in this regard.

‘We are with the chief adviser of all ministries and departments. Directly, how we will present the documents, how we will accept the instructions, basically these issues have been discussed’ he said.

Stating that there was no talk about the ongoing projects, the secretary said that basically working with the ministries and departments and working with the departments is the main work now. The works which can be settled at the secretariat level or office level, should be settled.
