Due to non-implementation of the full agreement of the Ministry with Sahaj.com, the Standing Committee on Railways Ministry has recommended collection of fine and necessary legal action against it.

The recommendation was made in the fourth meeting of the ‘Standing Committee on Ministry of Railways’ of the 12th National Parliament on Wednesday (July 31). Committee President ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury presided over it.

In the meeting, it was recommended to the Ministry to take necessary measures to make the domestic and foreign suppliers of DEMU trains present in the next meeting and to resolve the Ministry’s cases quickly by creating the post of Chief Law Officer and appointing Contractual Law Officer.

Besides, the Committee unanimously recommended the suspension of Additional Director General (Rolling Stock) Perth Government due to negligence and irregularities in duty.
