A magnitude 5.1 earthquake shook Afghanistan on Saturday.

According to the information released by the National Seismological Center,

At 6.45 pm, an earthquake shook Afghanistan. It is reported to be 5.1 on the Richter scale.

The epicenter was reported below the Pacific Ocean floor, however; no tsunami alert was issued.
