As the days go by, the price of gold is increasing. Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has decided to increase the maximum price by Tk 1,936 in two days. As a result, the price of a good quality i.e. 22 carat gold bar will be 1 lakh 27 thousand 943 taka. This price of gold has created a record in the market of the country.

This information was informed in a press release signed by Masudur Rahman, Chairman of the Price Determination and Price Monitoring Standing Committee of Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) on Sunday (August 25).

According to Bajus, the price of acidic gold has increased in the local market. The new price of gold has been fixed keeping in view the overall situation. The new gold price will be effective from Monday.

According to the new price, the price of best quality or 22 carat (11.664 grams) gold is Tk 1 lakh 27 thousand 943, 21 carat gold is Tk 1 lakh 22 thousand 122, 18 carat is Tk 1 lakh 4 thousand 684 and traditional method Each load of gold will be sold at 86 thousand 547 taka.

The price of gold has been increased but the price of silver has been kept unchanged. According to the category, currently the price of 22 carat silver is 2 thousand 100 taka, 21 carat is 2 thousand 6 taka, 18 carat is 1715 taka and the price of traditional silver is 1 thousand 283 taka.

On Sunday (August 25), the best quality or 22 carat (11.664 grams) gold was priced at Tk 1,26,660, 21 carat at Tk 1,20,279, 18 carat at Tk 1,3098 and Sanatan. Gold sold for 85 thousand 241 rupees per system.
