Before now it had only been worse once, in 2019, when it was 42.6 degrees. At 3pm today and for the third time since 1872 the weather station in the 14th arrondissement crossed the 40 line, while at 4pm the temperature had reached 40.5. And after the record heat, thunderstorms will follow: the alarm mainly concerns today night and tomorrow, when the temperature should drop to about 25 degrees over the capital and the entire region.
