Berlin The prices for German residential real estate rose at a record pace at the end of 2021. From October to December they increased by an average of 12.2 percent compared to the same period last year. “This is again the strongest price increase in residential real estate transactions since the time series began in 2000,” the Federal Statistical Office announced on Monday. On average for 2021, prices for residential real estate rose by 11.0 percent overall, after 7.8 percent in 2020.
