Before understanding why this happens, it is good to explain the very simple procedure to recover the photos. You have to open the Instagram app and go to the main page of your profile. Just click on the icon with your image, located in the lower right corner.
Once there, you will have to access a menu that opens by touching the three lines in the upper right corner. You will then need to select File. That’s not all, because to access the images, videos or other archived posts you will have to go to the first line (where it usually says Archive of Stories), click on it and wait for a new menu to appear. If you want to recover visibility, you just have to go to one of them to view it full screen and then, in the upper right corner, just above the image, go to the three points that allow you to access a menu in the that you can find the profile.
