The cycle of workshops and conferences “Open Doors to scientific dissemination” promoted by the Institute of Metallurgy of the UASLP, offered this Thursday, June 8 at the Postgraduate Auditorium the theme, “Introduction to recreational science”, which had the participation of the Ingenious Divulgando group.

Lic. Rosa María Martínez of the dissemination group, after thanking the invitation to participate in the series of workshops and conferences, offered the context of dissemination and dissemination, and presented the types and formats to be able to do it; Subsequently, each participant developed a sketch of the activity that was presented at the end of the course.

He highlighted that of all the dissemination activities, the theme of recreational science was chosen, supported by the idea that young people should be encouraged with these activities to develop those soft skills requested in companies, and have knowledge of how to improve their leadership. , communication, teamwork, solving activities in front of an audience that may or may not be defined.

In turn, Mr. César Augusto Martínez Rocha, announced that this exercise has been carried out by Ingenious Divulgando for several years, and was recently instituted in the National Recreational Science Network, where interesting activities are carried out.

The popularizer explained that recreational science from the National Network was coined as a double way of seeing and recreating science, of creating the phenomena of a laboratory in an activity on the street, in a corridor, or in something portable; in addition to making it fun and avoiding the typical boring way of doing an experiment, but recreating a scientific phenomenon.

“Recreational science at the UASLP is carried out in a different way, each one with their own effort and today we talk about how they fit into each of these segments. We know that there are many people with valuable knowledge to share, so the ideal is to find a fun way and not just within a publication.
