Now the “Bunte” reports what exactly his will looks like and that is surprising in some places. Around eight weeks before his death, Mateschitz wrote his written legacy near his property in Auhof near Lake Wolfgangsee.
Inside is a list of his Company shares – especially Red Bull and some real estate companies. These two components are said to have made up the lion’s share of the approximately 26 billion of his assets.

Two Centerpieces: His first apartment, which he bought in 1975, when he was still at the beginning of his career. He also owned his parents’ house in Marein in the Mürztal, where he grew up with his sister Heldegard.
The connection to his homeland Austria was also reflected in numerous properties that a Mateschitz company purchased in 2014. Castles and the like have been lovingly renovated and preserved.
