In an interview with radio 103FM, Zohar said: “We are still working hard in the negotiations between the partnership, hoping that we will reach an agreement soon. Usually there is no simple coalition negotiation, there are some difficulties and in the end we will reach an agreement because there is no other alternative but the establishment of a right-wing government.”

“With us in Likud, within 24 hours at most 48 the matter will be over. The problem is different, right now with the partnership there are disagreements about the scope of the cases. There will be 17-18 cases in Likud. It is clear that everyone’s ambition is that the senior cases, at least some of them, will remain in Likud.”

Zohar conveyed a message to Smotrich and said that “We insist that at least two of the three remain in Likud and that should be the task. Netanyahu’s main goal is to keep the security portfolio in Likud, we insist on that.”

Regarding the world’s concern over the appointment of Smotrich as Minister of Defense, he said: “I don’t know what messages are coming, I don’t know what their nature is and how serious they are. We do want the security file to remain in Likud, we are making every effort for that. The justice file as well The Likud wants it, it’s a very influential and senior case and it’s important for reforms in the judicial system.”

Zohar referred to the scenario according to which a right-wing government would not be established due to the differences of opinion: “I don’t want to think about such a situation, it would be one of the biggest farces in Israeli politics. It is something that should not be missed, and I suppose no one will do it. We want to establish a full right-wing coalition , that’s what we’re working for.”

“Netanyahu will not be a blackmailer, he will lead and lead. We understand the desires, but in the end there is a red line that no one can cross. I hope that people will come to their senses and quickly, every day that passes the existing government continues in its role and does more damage. I do not want the security, finance and foreign affairs “.
