Reddit Developing AI Support for Search Results Pages

jpnn.com – Reddit is working to revolutionize its search results page by leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) to summarize and recommend content. This development was confirmed by Reddit Co-founder and CEO Steve Huffman.
The new feature is still in the trial stage, but Huffman believes it will allow users to ”dive deeper” into content and discover new Reddit communities.
Reddit will utilize both its own resources and external partnerships to power the AI-powered search function. This follows the company’s previous collaborations with OpenAI and Google, which provided access to vast language models and data.
Huffman also highlighted the success of Reddit’s existing AI-powered language translation feature, pointing to French as one of the fastest growing languages supported.
