The leading Chinese smartphone maker, Xiaomi, has finally launched the Redmi 10 in India as planned. It is the latest budget smartphone from the company. It is the successor to the Redmi 9 launched in 2020, but it comes with a new design and a better set of specifications.

Redmi 10 specifications and features

  • In terms of design, the Redmi 10 features a plastic body like any other budget smartphone, and a new camera island design, which includes a fingerprint sensor installed at the back, and the device comes in three colors: black, blue and green.
  • Screen: The device features a 6.71-inch (LCD) screen with a pixel resolution (FHD +), a refresh rate of 60 Hz, and a brightness of 400 nits. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and has a dewdrop hole, and it has a Widevine L1 certification for high operation. Resolution on popular streaming apps like Netflix, Prime Video, and Disney + Hotstar.

  • Processor: The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC paired with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage, and runs the device with MIUI 13 based on Android 11.
  • Speaking of cameras, photography and video, the phone uses a dual camera system on the back, consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor, while for selfies and video calls, there is a 5-megapixel camera on the front.
  • The Redmi 10 smartphone comes with dual SIM card slots, 4G connectivity, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 and GNSS.
