Redmi Band 2 and Redmi Watch 3 with new tracking features

Alongside the new Redmi K60 series with advanced specifications, Xiaomi also unveiled the Redmi Watch 3 and Redmi Band 2 in China, two new models that continue those from last year with an extremely low price tag.

The Redmi Watch 3 received a new and slightly more refined design. It still comes with a square but better quality 1.75-inch AMOLED type screen with HD resolution and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. The company says that it is 15% larger than its predecessor, with a maximum brightness of 600 nits. It is also waterproof and suitable for use even in swimming up to a depth of 50 meters thanks to the 5ATM standard.

The Redmi Watch 3 comes with several sensors such as a heart rate monitor, blood oxygen saturation meter (SpO2), mental pressure monitoring, sleep, breathing training and for women cycle monitoring. In total, it includes 121 different types of training that you can choose from. It also has SOS emergency dialing, a built-in GPS receiver, a 289 mAh battery that is sufficient for up to 12 days of use.

The Redmi Band 2 fitness band is narrower but still got the 76% bigger screen than the previous model. It is 1.47 inches in size, with the ability to dive up to 50 meters preserved here as well. Compared to the Watch 3, the Redmi Band 2 is content with only 30 different training modes and does not have a built-in GPS. Yes, it includes a heart rate monitor, step and distance tracking, sleep and more. The battery will be enough for up to two weeks of use when it comes with a silicone strap in different colors.

The price for the Redmi Watch 3 starts at 499 yuan, which is about 250 shekels, while 159 yuan for the fitness band Redmi Band 2, which is only about 80 shekels.
